Brandee Michele Wilkinson
Brandee Michele Wilkinson is a lifelong resident of Akron, Ohio. She graduated from John R. Buchtel High School, and then went to Kent State University where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. She continued her studies and attended the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science earning a degree in Applied Science in 2005.
Brandee also holds a Masters Degree in Practical Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary. As a proud member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, she serves as the Youth Pastor while working as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. Brandee has over 15 years experience in the funeral industry. She was afforded the opportunity to serve her apprenticeship and work at a few of the local funeral homes in Akron. If you were to ask, she would tell you that she is the funeral director she is today because she stood on the shoulders of some great mentors.
Brandee also serves as the Board President for Minority Behavioral Health Group. Her passion is to serve those that are hurting mentally, physically and spiritually, therefore, in 2014 she became a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Brandee is the proud wife of Damarcus, an Akron Firefighter, and together they have one daughter named Journee.
Her favorite scripture is Psalm 37:4 “Delight yourself in the LORD, and HE will give you the desires of your heart.”
