Meet our staff, members of the local community who make everything that happens possible.


Brandee M. Wilkinson is a dynamic leader, ordained minister, funeral professional, As a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, Certified Grief Recovery specialist, and the owner of Wilkinson Funeral Home, she has dedicated her life to serving families with compassion, dignity, and excellence during life’s most difficult moments.
Brandee is a graduate of John R. Buchtel High School. She holds an Associate Degree in Applied Science from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University, a Master of Arts in Theology from Ashland Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry Degree at Virginia Union University.
Brandee serves faithfully as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor at the Mount Calvary Baptist Church, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, and Order of the Eastern Star, Mary Chapter #47.
She is the proud wife of Damarcus Wilkinson, an Akron firefighter, and together they have one daughter named Journee. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 37:4, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.”


Damarcus is a Firefighter/Medic for the City of Akron. He also serves as the CFO to Wilkinson Funeral Home. He often works behind the scenes but is indeed the backbone of the funeral home. Damarcus is currently pursuing his degree in Business Management Hospitality. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and cooking.


Amber is a huge asset to Wilkinson Funeral Home. She is often seen behind the desk but serves in whatever capacity that is needed. Amber's desire is to become a Licensed Funeral Director. She is married and has two beautiful boys. She also enjoys singing, blogging and shopping.


Carmen is a valuable asset to the company. She is a Registered Nurse and has been in the health industry for over 25 years. Around the funeral home, she is often seen working administratively on the weekends. She enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with her family.


George is the "Pops" of Wilkinson Funeral Home. He will assist wherever needed. George is a Cleveland native and a huge asset to the Akron Community. He enjoys sports (especially Cleveland sports) and spending time with his grandchildren.


Jason serves as the network engineer of the company. He is often behind the scenes, but with his technology background, Jason makes sure the office is running smoothly. He has a passion for music production, and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.


Randy is a valuable asset to the funeral home. He is a retired long distance Truck Driver with over 25 years of experience, and lends his time to work funeral services. He is often seen driving the Hearse. Randy enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.


Samantha is a huge asset to the funeral home. She serves behind the scenes, and works on media and marketing. She also assists in administrative work if needed. Occasionally, you will see her outside of the funeral home keeping up the landscape. Samantha is a teacher for Akron Public Schools and enjoys gardening, traveling and designing.


Sandra is the "Mom" of the funeral home. As a retired teacher for the Akron Public Schools, she has the skills to work with families, as well as administration. In addition, Sandra will assist wherever needed. She is a huge asset to the Akron Community, serving in multiple organizations. Sandy enjoys spending time with her family, and reading.


William (better known as Will) has been in the funeral industry for over 10 years. He is knowledgeable and compassionate toward the families we serve. Will also served in the US Army and has three children. His desire is to become a Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.
