Shawn Mills

Shawn Donzell Mills was born on June 15, 1970 in Akron, Ohio to the late Billy Covington Sr. and Peggy Mills.

Shawn was a well-known person. He made a positive impact on everyone he encountered with his outgoing personality. Shawn professionally detailed cars and he loved to clean. Shawn also loved the children. He departed earth’s sorrow to Heaven’s joy unexpectedly on January 6, 2021.

He was preceded in death by Chip (Ella), JC, Arthur, Taft, Brenda, Wayne and Cathy Mills; Jimmy (Grandma Mitzie), Billy Sr., Larry (Edna), Michael Covington and Orlando Wheat.

He leaves to cherish his memory; wife, Charmaine Mills; children, Jasmaime Turner, CJ and Cortrell Rodgers; mother, Peggy Mills; sisters, Sharee Mills (John) and Marissa Covington; brothers, Orlando Poe, Henry (Makeba) Davis, Billy Covington, Jr.; uncles, Bruce and Ronnie Mills, Jimmy Long, Bobby (Rochelle), Gary (Raquel) Covington; nieces and nephews, Tieree, Tyrone and Tyrell Brown, Shanelle and Trayvon Mills, Reggie (Mariah) Sheppard; special friends, Sandy and Dana, and a host of loving family and friends.
