Meghan Preston

Meghan Christine Preston transitioned to her heavenly home on April 29, 2021, at age 23. She was born on July 18, 1997 in Ravenna, OH, to parents, Antonio Preston and Brandy Preston. She was the proud mother of four beautiful children who brought much joy and fulfillment to her life.

Meghan graduated in 2015 from Stow High School, where she excelled on the varsity basketball team.  Upon graduation Meghan entered directly into the workforce to provide for her precious growing family. No matter the job, Meghan was a dedicated employee, bringing joy to everyone she came into contact with.  Being a full time mother and dedicated employee allotted her little time for much else, however, she remained laser focused on achieving her ultimate goals of being a licensed Cosmetologist, model, and house flipper like her “Paw Paw”.

Her children should know that their mother’s expressive and dynamic personality was beyond her years. The party didn’t start until Meghan showed up. She had a way of making people believe, “it would all work out.” She could love on and aggravate her brothers and sisters in the same breath. Her smile was as innocent as a child’s, illuminating and filled with life and energy.  She lit up a room. One of her favorite songs, Sunday Best, reflected her life until the very end. She died as she lived, strong and on her terms. These reasons and more are why her family and friends will always love and miss her.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory four children Addison Aubrielle Grace Rivers (age 6), Khrystian Armoni Hope Rivers (age 5), Paityn Amiya Faith Rivers (age 3), and Christopher Armony Rivers Jr. (age 2), who were the joy and motivation of her life. She is also survived by her loving mother Brandy Preston; father Antonio (Davina) Preston; siblings Antonio II (Monique), Brenna, Xavier, Trenton, and Rylee Preston; Great-grandparents Eddie Mae Prisby and Inez Preston; grandparents Mary McMurray, William (Michelle) Preston, Sheralynn Stevens, Linda Ray; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.  Also, special thank you to Meghan’s bonus parents Olicia & Lance Taylor, the father of her children, Christopher Rivers Sr; and the entireTaylor/Rivers family for loving our daughter as your own!
