Clifford Miller, Sr.

Clifford Eugene Miller was born on September 11, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio. He attended Columbus Public Schools until he moved to Akron at the age of 16 when he met his wife. He served in the army and later returned to Akron where his love for basketball landed him a position as Program Director at the YMCA. He had a true passion for mentoring children. He will be most remembered for having harvest parties, building outside forts, playing “clone”, zipper doo and hulky powers with his most cherished possessions, his grandkids. He was an avid walker and devoted Christian. He loved the Lord. He had many skills but enjoyed painting and drywall finishing the most, which he did until he became ill. On September 19, 2021 his suffering ended when he gained his wings, surrounded by love.

He was preceded in death by his mother’s Alverta Parker, Blanche Donald and Sueann Robinson. Father in law, Clark Robinson Sr., sister Jaida Parker, brother Roger Parker, son in law Anthony Thomas Sr., and nephew David Carter.

He leaves to mourn his memory, his wife Sueann Miller. His children Janee(Danielle)Jenkins, Therese Thomas, Jermyrin(Brittney)Miller, Michael(J’Waun)Miller, Davierre Miller, Tevell(Michelle)Moss and Unequa Scurry.
His grandchildren, Anthony(Alecia)Thomas, Daejah McDonald, Vann Aubrey Thomas, Mike Miller, JeMya Miller, Jemyrin Miller, Mi’Cyrin Miller, Mi’Cari Miller and Mylin Miller. His great-grandchildren Zyaire Cox and Aubrey Aumelo Thomas. His sisters, Christine Carter, Rose(Starr)Huntly, Lynda Donald, Jennifer Donald and brother Tony Parker.

Special nieces and nephews, Javida, Ju’elz, Jayanna, Sean, Dee, Hoobie, Dior, Laquia, Rooster, Marcy, Reaiah, Nahrae, Ibreah, Gabriel, Nikki, Shemia, Javon, Hamyah, Maliyah, Monique, Shaterra, Sweet Pea, Lauren, Jurzhi, Diamond, Big Amp, Teka, Keyonna, Anthony, Don Don, Monica, Tammy, TT, Tayler and Jeremy.
