Carolyn S. Griffin (CC.), was born April 2, 1947 to William and Fadie Bell Griffin. Carolyn went home to be with the Lord on October 3, 2021. Carolyn attended Springfield Township High School.
Carolyn was a devoted mother and grandmother who gave love to all. She is the mother of four beautiful daughters, Candace, Angie, Shawn and Felicia. Carolyn was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3618 and worked at the Lady’s Auxiliary and Alkaf Post 109. She later worked in the dietary department at Rockynol; where she later retired. Carolyn loved her family and always loved to have everyone gather at her home and one of her favorite things to do was take pictures. Carolyn is the second youngest of 12 children.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, William and Fadie Bell Griffin; Sisters: Doris, Peggy, Edna, Mary, Sarah, and brother William “JR”. Grandchildren, Tereaunte’ Griffin, Percy Alexander IV (LP), and Jontae Alexander (Jigg).
Carolyn is survived by her daughters Candace (Derrick) Adams, Shawn Griffin and Felicia (Avondi) Griffin; sisters, Shirley, Betty, Margie, Rose; brother, Joe; grandchildren Sheneeka (Donny) Rodgers, Tanika (Dwight) Adams, TraVonte’ Griffin, Breonna Alexander, Special Griffin, Traunte’ Griffin, Derrick Adams II, Carolyn Griffin, Chardaysha Kindell, Tayunte’ Griffin, Bryanaisa Griffin; great grandchildren, Donny Jr., Journey, Jakobi, Jasmyia, Javeon, Kierstyn, Traunte’ Jr.,Tayunte’ Jr., Nyleah, Malia, Karma, Percy, Paetyn, Niliyah and Kimora. Grandpet: Royal. Carolyn is also survived by a number of special nieces and nephews. Special friends Vince Waldron, Stanley Daniels, Peggy, Jackie, Sheryl Adams, Barbara, Cheryl, Freda, Nita, Jeanette and Gale. C.C you will always live with the love that you left us and your memories will be in our hearts forever. We love you and you will be deeply missed.
