Wanetta D. Sherroll was born October 12, 1959 to Corrinne L. Turner and Matt Sherroll in Akron, Ohio. She attended Schumacher Elementary School and graduated from North High School. She was a long-term member of Macedonia Baptist Church, where she volunteered in the open kitchen.
