Sharon Delores Nash, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend peacefully passed away on November, 5, 2023, in Akron, Ohio, at the age of 73. Sharon was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 23 1950 to loving parents Wilbur and Geraldine Nash.

Sharon dedicated her life to compassion, inspiration and service. She began her career as a medical secretary before starting her own medical transcription business. She later dedicated her life to her ministry. She preached several sermons throughout the community of Akron while serving as a volunteer chaplain with Summa Health Systems.

An avid bowler, Sharon earned first place in her women’s bowling league. The Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Guardians were her favorite sports teams. She often enjoyed many sporting events with her family and friends. 

Sharon loved reading and enjoyed biographies, fiction and poetry from some of her favorite authors such as Toni Morrison, James Patterson and Maya Angelou. 

Cookies, cakes and pies oh, my! Sharon had an amazing gift for cooking. She provided many special family gatherings with fresh homemade baked goods that warmed hearts and filled bellies crafted with sugar, chocolate and sprinkled with love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Michael Nash.

Sharon is survived by her son Jerrold Nash (Shannon Nash), Daughter Michelle Nash, her three sisters Deborah Nash – Harris, Linda Nash, and Brenda Anderson. She has four cherished grandchildren Furious Nash (Taylor Nash), Ebony Nash, Jordan Nash, Anisa Nash and a host of beloved family and dear friends.

In honor of Sharon's profound impact on the lives of those around her, her memorial services will offer an opportunity to celebrate her life and her legacy of love. May her memory be a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
