Ronnie Buckner

Ronnie Delaney Buckner called home to be with the lord on June 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Ronnie was born on July 20,1953 to Loise and Ruby Buckner. He was a lifetime resident of Akron, Ohio. Ronnie was a multiskilled contractor who served his community, family and many friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially grandkids, nieces and nephews. Ronnie demonstrated his loyalty by always helping family and friends. Ronnie loved to go to the casino, nature and taking pictures and videos of his family. Family meant everything to Ronnie. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. 

Ronnie was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Lakeisha Amos; son, Sir Loise; grandson, Darius Lollar; brother Jesse Frank Robinson Jr; sister, Sandra Johnson; sister-in-law, Ida Robin; mother-in-law, Cellastine Carter; father-in-law, Robert Flowers Sr.; and sister-in-law, Kimberly Carter.

He leaves to cherish his love and memories, wife Talaya; sister, Dewon Buckner (Joe) Hines; daughters Theresa Lollar and Taknesha Vaughn; sons, Ronnie Mosley, Paris Stafford and LaVan; Brothers-in-law, Robert Flowers Jr.; Marvin and Terry Carter, and Travis Flowers. Grandchildren, Desire Lollar, Destiny Gamble, Dajemania Gamble, and Tayleigh Vaughn; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews ,family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday June 29, 2024 from 1pm-2pm at Wilkinson funeral Home, 1158 South Arlington St. Akron, OH 44306.
