Robert James Singletary

Robert J. Singletary born March 3, 1944 to the late Willie J. and Jackie M. Singletary, passed away on May 22, 2023 after fighting a short illness.

Robert served in the U.S. Army where he received a Good Conduct Medal and an Expert Badge in riflery. After serving his country, he landed a job at Ford Motor Company. Working hard for several years he was promoted to become supervisor. He gave his all to his position and was respected by many co-workers.

Bobby as we called him would go out of his way to help anyone and was a true friend to all who met him. He will be greatly missed.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father and mother, Willie and Jackie Singletary; brother, Willie J. III; sister, Jacqueline; grandson, Iron Cannon.

He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, Barbara Ann Singletary; son, Addison Singletary; brother, Anthony Singletary (Mary); sisters, Colletta Bell, Anita Barnett and Renee Keith Curry; grandchildren, Asten Singletary and Robert Singletary; great-grandchildren, Jayvion and Dominic Singletary; bonus daughters, Maisha Joseph and Nykia Joseph Walker, and a host of cousins, nephews, nieces and relatives.
