Richard L. Neeley went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2021.

He worked at Akron General Hospital for over 30 years, where he was a Lead Painter in the Maintenance Dept. He also enjoyed (and was really good at) grilling for the family, fishing, gardening, and photography.
Richard was the neighborhood dad, and a positive role model who had a true impact on the lives of the people that knew him. Richard was preceded in death by (Mother) Magnolia Neeley, and (Brothers) Clarence E. Neeley, and Frank Neeley, Jr.
He is survived by his wife Katie Neeley; brother Sylvester Neeley; children: Richard (Angie) Neeley, Jr.; Angela Neeley; Kevin (Megan) Neeley. Grandchildren: Granddaughters: Asheli Neeley, Amber Neeley, Cheyenne Neeley, and Chevonne Anderson. Grandson: Richard Neeley, III. As well as seven precious great -grandchildren.
