Michelle Mullins

Michelle L. Mullins (Shelly), 47, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

She was born October 18, 1971 to Margie and Glen Mullins.  She graduated from Garfield High School in 1990.  She was baptized at an early age and was a member of Timothy Baptist Church where she served as a faithful usher.  She most recently joined New Trinity Baptist Church.  Throughout her lifetime, she worked various jobs.  Shelly possessed a gentle spirit, loving family and friends around her deeply.  Always showing loving actions that went above and beyond her expectations.  She was loved by all and held a special place in her heart for all children.  She enjoyed laughing and socializing with family and friends., cooking for family gatherings, and shopping for others.  Shelly will be sadly missed by all who loved and adored her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Mullins and stepfather, Willie (Tony) Heflin; brothers, Glen (Chuck) and Derrick (Skeek) Shelton; grandparents, James and Francis Conwell, Rev. Willie and Veola Mullins; special niece, Ashley Williams; and great nephews, Tylen Watson.

She leave to cherish her beautiful memory loving mother, Margie Heflin; devoted sisters, Tracey Mullins and Beth Locke; grandmother, Belzie Carson; special friends, Calvin Hunter; twin boys De’Andre and Le’Ander Shadie and Ivory (Gladys) Washington; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins and friends.
