James Preston

James L. Preston, Jr. "Sam" 73, was born to James and Inez Preston, Sr. in Roanoke, VA. He attended Roanoke City Schools and moved to Akron, OH as an young adult,

James was last employed at the Phoenix, AZ airport.

He was preceded in death by his father; James L. Preston, Sr.; grandmother, Neil Mcrath; brother, Walter Preston; sister, Roslyn (Inez) Reed, and nephew, Antwain Preston.

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Inez Preston; children, LaTonya Preston, Sheronica Gracy and son, James L. Preston III; brothers, Tony Preston of Roanoke, VA, William (Michelle) Preston and Donald Preston; brother in law, Andre Reed, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.
