Georgia Mae Allen-Kyles was born June 8, 1945, in Laurens, Georgia. She crossed over to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Georgia Mae graduated from high School at the age of 16 and took necessary steps in order to become a schoolteacher. She moved to Akron, Ohio where she furthered her career and landed a job with the Akron Public Schools System. In her spare time, she participated in bowling leagues. She also loved gardening, canning and being a seamstress. In the early 1980’s, Georgia Mae started a group called The Allen Singers, which was made up of her children, with the lead singer being little Eric. Because of the love of God that was within her, her home became a safe place for many people who were destitute. Her home became their home, and her family became their family. She attended Christ is The Answer Ministries with Overseer J. Michael Martin, Sr., as her pastor.
