Carolyn Faith Butler

Carolyn Faith Keen-Butler blessed the world with her gracious, loving and giving heart on April 6, 1946 to Mary Lee Jones. She made her heavenly transition on February 24, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at home. She lived in Akron, Ohio with a short stay in Florida. She worked many different jobs but she finally retired from Goodwill Industries in 2001. She married the love of her life Jack Butler in 1998. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was full of style, a natural caretaker and had a heart of gold. She loved to sew, dance, cook, and sing. She welcomed everyone into her home and was a Mother to many. Her children and grandchildren were her world.

She is preceded in death by her mother Mary-Lee Jones, husband Jack Butler, daughter Carmarlice Keen and brother Noah Jones. She leaves behind many to cherish her memory, her children Shawntya Keen and Edward Keen(Gina Stoll) and a God son Christopher Brown. Brother James Jones Jr, sisters Merriam Wesson, Janet Jones, Claudette Thomas and Brenda Jones. She leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews that she loved dearly. Carolyn’s presence here will truly be missed.
