Alvin Dwayne Culver, 70, was called home to be with the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ peacefully on February 3rd 2024.
Alvin was a lifetime resident of Akron Ohio, a faithful member and drummer to The House Of The Lord, he also was a part of the church band called (Chosen) . He graduated from Buchtel High School 1972 , a true Griffin in deed. Former employee at EC Morris, but retiree from Goodyear.
Alvin truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, playing the drums, music and fishing. Alvin played drums from the age of 2 until his last days on earth.
He was a loving son, father, brother, and friend. Alvin had an outgoing personality that touched many lives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel brothers Aaron, Raife Woodall and Grandmother Bessie Yarbrough. Alvin leaves to cherish his loving memory, his sons Aaron (Charmaine)Malone, Ricardo Mcguire, daughter, Ashley Culver, Mother Mary Culver, sister Karen Greer; ex-wife Gwendolyn Culver niece Aerial (Durrand) Huggins, 9 Grandchildren and his devoted best friend/brother Stanley Davis, Rev. Mark Thompson with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
